Drawing on many years of experience working with gemstones and manufacturing, ANPA offers a truly personal bespoke jewellery experience.
A bespoke design is a wonderful choice, particularly for something as special as an engagement or wedding ring. Bespoke, tailor-made, made-to-order and custom-made jewellery are different names for the same process: designing and creating a piece that expresses you, and you alone. The designer sets aside their own style to interpret the client’s dreams and wishes, while guiding and advising on technical, practical and design matters.
At your consultation, our designer Andreas Betzold will discuss your ideas, offer inspiration and make aesthetic and practical recommendations on gemstones, metals and styles, based on your preferences, lifestyle and budget. If you already have ideas in mind, please bring drawings or examples along. If you have gemstones you would like to use, we are happy to include them in your design. Otherwise, we can source and supply any gems required.
The process is both simple and exciting. Andreas will provide sketches and/or high-quality CAD images of your design, with plenty of opportunities to refine it until you are entirely happy with both the design and the gemstones. Once these have been finalised, we will prepare a detailed quotation. We usually need 14 days from the date of acceptance to complete a piece, although we have completed designs in as little as 48 hours.

Andreas Betzold oversees all bespoke jewellery designs and orders, exclusively from our Kalk Bay studio. He combines a passion for gemstones and more than 20 years of design experience with exceptional technical expertise.
Andreas has perfected the art of custom-made jewellery, crafting beautiful, individual pieces that capture each client’s personality and taste. Skilled at understanding exactly what clients want, he offers expert advice on design and materials, working closely with them to create pieces of outstanding quality and beauty.
